Goa Ride - 2014
As a long weekend was there on first week of Oct, I started discussing with my biker friends and we end up in a Goa Ride. Goa is a Perfect Holiday Destination with its natural scenic beauty, abundant greenery, attractive beaches and colorful & lively feasts and festivities.
Six of us confirmed for this ride and started planning little earlier as it was a holiday season. We choose the route in a way that we ride along western ghats and cross the hill via Jog Falls to reach coastal highway.
Bangalore - Nelamangala - Channarayapatna - Arisikere - Shimoga - Jogfalls - Honnavar - Karwar - Goa
As all of them are coming on Outer ring road, we planned to start the ride from Tin Factory. As usual few of our guys were late and we start our ride by 5:00am in the morning. We rode on outer ring road and there was a traffic jam on the railway crossing after Mathikere. We are able to pass by after doing some off-roading. Once we hit the highway, we maintained 80-90kmph speed on Tumkur road.
